The CLAT programme is designed for students who are preparing for a five-year integrated law degree at National Law Universities and other leading institutions. The exam tests English comprehension, current affairs including general knowledge, legal reasoning, logical reasoning, and quantitative techniques. Each of these areas demands a different kind of preparation, and we treat them separately before integrating them into full-length practice papers closer to the exam date.
Legal reasoning often confuses beginners, because it looks like general knowledge but is actually a test of how carefully a passage is read and how a principle is applied to a given set of facts. Our faculty break down landmark judgments, constitutional principles and tort law basics into simple, readable passages so that students learn the method rather than memorise the content. Current affairs sessions are built around newspapers, editorials and monthly compilations, with an emphasis on understanding events rather than collecting headlines.
